Help & how it works

kWIW stands for know what it's worth. It was built for resellers and thrifters: snap one photo of anything you might sell, and get an identification, its story, and a price range in seconds — then turn it into a ready-to-paste listing.

Appraise anything

From the home page, take a photo or upload one. kWIW looks at the picture and identifies the item, its era and origin, notes its condition, and suggests a realistic resale price range.

Free look, full appraisal with a free account

Without an account you still get a quick identification. Sign up (it's free) and every scan unlocks the complete appraisal: history, condition notes, and the full price range. If you snap a photo while logged out, it's saved and waiting for you when you sign in.

Your library

Every appraisal is saved to your Library, where you can search and reopen your finds anytime. Only you can see your saved appraisals.

The appraisal page

Open any saved item to see the photo, what it is, its historical background, condition notes, and the suggested price range. Antique finds are flagged with a special notice, because older pieces can be worth far more than typical resale value.

Tell us if the price fits

On each appraisal you can rate the estimate (too high, about right, or too low) and add details like what similar items sold for. kWIW uses that feedback to recalculate a sharper price range for you.

Ready-to-paste listing

Each appraisal can generate a Marketplace-style listing draft: a title, description, suggested price, and category. Copy it and paste it straight into Facebook Marketplace to sell faster.

Share a public link

On an appraisal's page, create a public link to let anyone see the photo, what it is, and its estimated value — nothing private is included. Visitors can message you through the link, and their messages appear on that appraisal's page. You can turn the link off at any time.

Tips for better appraisals

Shoot in good light, fill the frame with the item, and capture any maker's marks, labels, or signatures. Clear photos of details lead to sharper identification and tighter price ranges.

One thing to know

Every estimate is AI-generated guidance, not a certified appraisal. Values can vary widely by condition, market, and demand — use kWIW to price confidently, and get a specialist opinion for anything rare or precious.
